My name is Mila, an artist and Art Director currently living in Romania. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts and Design.
My mission is to preserve and revive the rare techniques of the old masters, especially imprimatura and chiaroscuro, in my paintings. Today, only a handful of artists worldwide continue this tradition. Each piece I create is a labor of patience and passion, often taking a month or more to complete.
I paint in 2025 as if it were the 1600s: using natural earth pigments, oil, tempera, and aquarelle on wood panels and canvas. Through this meticulous process, I aim to keep alive a timeless artistic heritage, capturing the depth, soul, and drama that classical painting embodies.
